James Goddard is a software architect at Rubicon Red - an independent consulting firm helping customers enable enterprise agility and operational excellence through the adoption of emerging technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Cloud Computing.

James’ prior experience has been primarily in the utilities space, where he has been involved in large system integration projects in the areas of meter data management, B2B market transactions, GIS and network data aggregation, customer information and billing and most recently the implementation of AMI “Smart” meters.

James holds a Bachelors of Computer Science (Honours) degree from The University of Melbourne and is currently part way through a Masters of Technology (Enterprise Architecture) at RMIT.  He has worked as a consultant, tester and software engineer in the past, and has a strong background in software development, particularly in the systems integration space.

James has been a development team leader and a practicing IT Architect for the past 5 years.
