Geoff Tench – Senior SOA Consultant

Geoff is a Senior SOA Consultant at Rubicon Red an independent consulting firm helping customers enable enterprise agility and operational excellence through the adoption of emerging technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Cloud Computing.

Prior to Rubicon Red Geoff held a Senior Consultant Role at Tripoint Corporation Pty Ltd.  His area of focus was in the design, implementation and ongoing support of an integration solution built on the Oracle SOA Suite 10g.  Geoff has over thirteen years of working with the software lifecycle, including everything from requirements gathering, through architecture and design, to implementation, testing, support and maintenance.  He has developed and delivered high quality software and documentation to meet the demands of defence, safety critical and utility grade commercial applications.

Geoff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Application Science (Computer and Information Science) both from the University of South Australia.  Geoff has developed a passion for sharing his knowledge which has continued throughout his career which also included leading tutorial and practical sessions in Computer Science and Technical Communication at the University of South Australia.  Geoff’s strong mentoring and management skills enable him to work well as an individual and as part of a successful team.
