To this end, National Pharmacies is implementing an innovative procurement and approvals process, for store employees and suppliers using Oracle Cloud Platform - Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS) and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), integrating with Oracle JD Edwards running on Oracle IaaS.
With the new system, ProcureOne, store employees and suppliers can directly enter suggested stock orders from a tablet, in-store, and Store staff/managers can approve those orders in real time. No more waiting for paper purchase orders to be faxed to head office and then entered into the system – everything happens right then and there, in-store, in real time. This innovative process introduces efficiencies in stock ordering, processing deliveries, managing retail stock levels and introduces governance and transparency in purchase order approvals.
