If you are attending, be sure to join Matt at one of his sessions, or drop into the Experience Zone and say hi to Bill on the booth, to learn how Rubicon Red can help with your transition to the Cloud and your DevOps initiatives.
DevOps Best Practice for Oracle SOA and BPM DevOps and Cloud are transforming the software release process, one which spans multiple teams across development and operations (including testing, infrastructure management), into a collaborative process, with all teams working together to deliver solutions into production faster. This session details how to implement a continuous delivery process for Oracle SOA/BPM projects, both on-premise and in the cloud, which transform the release process into an automated, reliable, high quality delivery pipeline that delivers projects faster, with less risk and less cost. Attendees will also learn how the use of Cloud with DevOps can further accelerate the delivery of integration/BPM projects into production. Matt will discuss real-world customer case studies to illustrate how Oracle customers are doing this today.
Not going to make it for the first session of the day, but want to get the low-down on Continuous Delivery for Oracle SOA and BPM projects? Check out the Rubicon Red Whitepaper on Best Practice for Implementing Continuous Delivery for Oracle Middleware.
Moving Integration To The Cloud - Why, What, How and When?
The growth of cloud has fuelled the need to integrate Cloud applications with each other and with applications that reside on premise. Traditional integration platforms are evolving into offerings called integration platform as a service (iPaaS) primarily targeted at cloud 2 cloud integration. During the transition to cloud, organizations will be required to adopt a hybrid approach to their integration platform, but as more on-premise applications move to the cloud, users should plan for a re-balancing of the center of gravity of their integration platform. This session is designed to educate the audience about what it means to move integration to the cloud, and uses customer case studies to provide insight into how organizations are doing this today, including:
- Understand why you should move integrations to the cloud and which integrations are prime candidates for iPaaS
- Understand some of the common implementation challenges and what you can do now to simplify future cloud migrations
- Understand some of the critical deployment and operational monitoring considerations in moving integrations to the cloud
- Provides a six step roadmap for moving integration to the cloud
Can't get to the session but want to know more? Download the latest Rubicon Red Whitepaper to learn why moving Dev/Test to the cloud is a great first step, how to get started, and some important considerations to help your journey to the cloud.
